Laura Linney

Laura Linney is an American actor who became famous because of her portrayal of powerful and yet fragile character. Linney was raised in a theatre family her father was the playwright and writer Romulus Linney. Linney graduated in 1986 from Brown University in 1986 and then went on to study at the Arts Theatre School in Moscow before graduating with honors from the Juilliard School (M.F.A.) New York City, 1990. In 1990, she began with her Broadway career. She received praise for her roles in Hedda Gabrieller and Six Degrees of Separation.
