Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy (born April 16th, 1996) was born in Miami Florida. Her mother is English and half Spanish. Her parents include Dennis Alan Taylor an ex-banker and Jennifer Marina Joy psychologist. The daughter is an Argentinean of Scottish, English and Argentinean descent. The mother of Taylor-Joy is Spanish with English roots. Taylor Joy has four siblings. One of them is at each one of their parents' previous marriages. They were initially from Buenos Aires, but moved to Victoria at the age of 6 when Taylor-Joy was born. Taylor Joy claims that her move to England was extremely stressful. Taylor Joy was unable to master English and was hoping to return to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she had to attend following her departure from Northlands. In the following year, she joined Queen's Gate School to study dance and perform in school productions. After 16 she quit school in order to pursue acting as a career. Taylor-Joy was born to be an actor from a young age. She realized her dream when Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modeling gig.
