She is considered one of many of the most popular American Idol artists. In order to achieve success, she tried out different musical styles, and explored subjects. Because of her distinctiveness and vocal prowess, she received high praise and various accolades. She was awarded the Grammy Award is her most highly regarded prize. She also has been featured in film and television. In addition, she is the author of the book for children River Rose and the Magical Lullaby and involved with many charities.
