Laura Jeanne Reese Witherspoon (born on March 22, 1976) is an American actress. Her numerous accolades include an Academy Award, British Academy Film Award and Primetime Emmy Award. Witherspoon is estimated to have a amount of $400 million in her net worth. Witherspoon made her screen debut in The Man in the Moon (1991). Her breakout came in 1999 when she played an appearance in Cruel Intentions as well as her portrayal of Tracy Flick in the black comedy Election. Elle Woods, a comedy comedy (2001), and its sequel in 2003, gained her wider recognition. Also, she was in Sweet Home Alabama (2002), a romantic comedy.
