
American actress Elizabeth Chase Olsen was born on the 16th of February, 1989 in Sherman Oaks in California. Born in Sherman Oaks, California, Olsen began acting at the age four. She was in her first film role in the thriller Martha Marcy May Marlene in 2011, for which she was highly acclaimed and was nominated for an Critics' Choice Film Award among other accolades, followed by a role in the horror film Silent House. Olsen was awarded an BAFTA Rising Star Award nomination and was awarded a degree from New York University two years later. Olsen was a global star because of her portrayal as Scarlet Witch and Wanda Maximoff in the Marvel Cinematic Universe media series. She was a part of the superhero films Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015). Captain America: Civil War (2016). Avengers: Infinity War (2018). Avengers: Endgame (2019). Doctor Strange in The Multiverse of Madness (2022). She was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award as well as winning a Golden Globe Award for her performance in WandaVision. She was executive producer on and played in the film Sorry for Your Loss (2018-19), receiving a Critics' Choice Television Award nomination.
