
Lowell began acting when she played the lead role in Dangerously Close. She then had a minor role as Club Paradise's Assistant Attorney Jamie Ross. 4 She progressed to other roles, including co-starring with Bond girl Pam Bouvier in the James Bond movie Licence to Kill (1989) and, beginning in 1996, as assistant district attorney Jamie Ross for two seasons in the drama television series Law & Order, a role she reprised in 2005 to play a guest character on the spinoff show, Law & Order: Trial by Jury, and reprised the role on the original show in 2022, when it was relaunched for the 21st season. The actress was dissatisfied with her acting career, so she decided to apply to New York University to study documentary filmmaking. [4] She took a break from acting in the middle of the 2000s. In 2012, Lowell lent her likeness as well as voice, while reprising her Licence to Kill role in the video game 007 Legends. The actress returned to TV in 2018 on Blue Bloods as a guest.
